Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of Amalie AI, including the mobile app and https://petiht.com/learning. By creating an account or using Amalie AI, you agree to these Terms and to the Amalie AI Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Amalie AI. These Terms apply only to Amalie AI. The Petiht community app has separate terms at petiht.com/static/terms.

1. The service

Amalie AI is a music and language-learning product. It lets you listen to songs, read stories, view Haitian Creole and French translations of Spanish or English lyrics and stories, study words, and chat with other learners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate account information and use the service lawfully. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use Amalie AI. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit the service without written permission.

4. Learning content

Songs, stories, audio, covers, and translations are provided for personal learning. You may not redistribute licensed music or lesson content outside the app. Translations are generated or edited to help you learn; they may contain mistakes and are not a substitute for professional language instruction.

5. Your content and chat

You are responsible for messages and other material you post. Do not share illegal, harassing, or infringing content. We may remove content or restrict accounts to keep the service safe. Chat messages may be visible to other learners in that conversation.

6. Privacy

We process personal information as described in the Amalie AI Privacy Policy.

7. Paid features

Amalie AI may offer optional credits, memberships, or other paid features. Prices and availability can vary by platform and region. In-app credits are for use in Amalie AI, have no cash value outside the service unless the law requires otherwise, and are not transferable unless we say so.

8. Apple in-app purchases (iOS)

If you buy a subscription through the Apple App Store:

  • The plan name, length, and price are shown in the app before you pay.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Renewal may occur within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases follow Apple’s policies. Contact Apple Support for billing or refunds.

This agreement is between you and Amalie AI, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Amalie AI is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for claims about the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for Amalie AI in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater, except where the law says otherwise.

10. Termination

You may stop using Amalie AI at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms. Canceling an app-store subscription does not automatically delete your account.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
